Barack Obama

Barack Obama was born to America in 4 August 1961. He moved to 



Jakarta in 1967 where he lived for four years. At the age of 10, he returned to Hawaii and was raised by his maternal grandparents.  He is a very famous man. He's the President of the United States of America, but he's also famous beacuse he's the firts black president of the USA. Barack Obama began his run to be the Democratic nominee for president in February, 2007. Obama is from Hawaii. He's got a big family. His mother is American, but his father is from Kenya. Obama's got lots of relatives in Kenya: uncles, aunts and cousins. Obama's got a lot of heroes including Martin Luther King the civil rights leader, and Mahatma Ghandi, the Indian indipendence leader. His favourite sport is basketball.
Obama's got a wife and two children. His wife's name is Michelle. She's from Chicago in Illionis. She's African American. Her family is from South Carolina in the south of the USA. Her mother, Marian, is at the White House with the family. The two children have got their grandmother with them.
President Obama has got two daughters. Their names are Malia Ann and Natasha. Natasha's nickname is Sasha. Malia and Sasha have got a pet dog. His name is Bo. The girls are at a school in Washington near the White House. Natasha and Malia's favourite sports are football and tennis.
